Exploring the Panorama Route, as the scenic drive around the outer rim of the Blyde River Canyon, is known, is a fantastic day trip from Ubuntu Luxury Villa.
There are a number of scenic vantage points and famous landmarks to visit. If you’re a self-drive guest, you’ll find a map and some tips for your day out in the villa, or you can book a Panorama Tour with a professional guide. Make sure to really plan a full day to be able to stop at all the highlights. You don’t want to rush through the Panorama Route.
The highlights you should not miss on this special day-trip are:

- Three Rondavals, we always plan this as our last stop driving back to Hoedspruit, because the afternoon light is just the best.
- Blyde River Canyon
- Wonderview
- Lisbon Falls, there are many more waterfalls but for us this is the most beautiful and spectacular one
- Bourke’s Luck Potholes
- Lunchtip: we always love to stop at Divine Foods at the View in Graskop
